DockYard, a web application design and development consultancy, is seeking an HR Manager to join our growing team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the first point of contact for inquiries from employees related to benefits and HR related policies
  • Payroll management/administration
  • Benefits administration (Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, etc.)
  • Manage the new hire experience, ensuring employees are set up for success
  • Manage and evolve employee perk/incentive programs
  • Ensure HR documents are processed correctly and in a timely manner, according to legal requirements
  • Company policy maintenance/evolution
  • Manage organization of company team-building/retreat activities
  • Support/enable diversity strategy
  • General employee relations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Self-driven. You have superior organizational skills, integrity and great follow through on tasks
  • Naturally curious. You’re innovative, extremely creative and constantly looking for ways to improve upon things
  • Obsessive about the employee experience
  • You are self-aware, well-spoken on the phone and eloquent in emails
  • Motivated. You understand the impact of a highly-satisfied, excited crew; you are obsessive about grinding away at issues
  • A utility player. You’re willing to help out wherever needed
  • Familiarity with progressive remote-working environments
  • Willingness to learn, grow and be flexible in small company environment
  • Willing to work fully remote
