Congratulations to DockYard UX Developer Quinton Jason for winning the Mosaic Champion Award by the American Advertising Federation-Baton Rouge (AAF-BR), recognizing his achievements in making the custom software development industry more inclusive and diverse.
Following the lead of the national AAF’s Mosaic Council to promote diversity across the country, the AAF-BR annually recognizes an individual who has been continuously supportive of diversity and inclusion within the creative/advertising industry in the Baton Rouge area.
As a UX developer for a digital product development agency, Quinton is eager to educate others on bleeding-edge technologies that enable the creation of groundbreaking software and Progressive Web Applications. His passion for broadening professional talent in the web development industry has led him to work with students through the Futures Fund, where he serves as a software instructor. He also helped create the Activate Conference to mentor students and young web development workforce as well as help them gain access to local technology resources. In addition, he founded BR Hack Night, a monthly networking event to bring the local professional development community together to work on projects and ideas.
Quinton was honored Saturday, February 23 at the AAF-BR’s 2019 American Advertising Awards show.
